1. Functional Title: Consultant Overall Experience: 04-06 Yrs. Position Description: Backup & Storage Administrator: This is a technical role and is accountable for the day to day operations of the EMC Networker and EMC Avamar backup infrastructure which includes all aspects of Enterprise Backup Administration; areas include capacity Management, planning and support, disaster recovery. Candidate will be expected to perform the role of Backup Administrator to support centralized backups of Sun Solaris, HP-UX, Linux and Windows based operating systems. Will also assist in software product installations, updates, and customizations for storage components and switch infrastructure. Diagnose, research and resolve backup issues using vendor resources and other support methods. Acts as a technical advisor for system related activity. Assist in the development and implementation of solutions for capacity and performance related issues. The candidate must have strong communication skills. Region: US Locations Work Location: Hightstown - NJ Estimated Duration: 6 Month Additional Information: The candidate must have experience with EMC Networker, EMC virtual tape libraries, EMC WysDM (DPA), EMC Avamar. 2. Will also assist in software product installations, updates, and customizations for storage components and switch infrastructure. Diagnose, research and resolve storage issues using vendor resources and other support methods. Acts as a technical advisor for system related activity.
