We've had a lot of posts on java-linux recently that are generic Java
questions, that have nothing at all to do with Linux. I'm here to
remind the list, once again, that this sort of question is *not
appropriate*. Do not post questions here unless they are about the
specifics of Java on Linux. Furthermore, I would encourage regular
members not to answer these messages here either, so as not to
encourage people to keep posting inappropriate questions.
I don't mean to sound unkind, but this list has an important function:
to discuss issues having to do with running Java on Linux. Off topic
messages dilute the list and make it less useful for everyone.
