That's great!

What I'm working on is not so ambitious: I'm starting from Sun's
existing Motif peer classes and (more or less) just replacing
the Motif widgets with corresponding GTK+ widgets. It will be able
to be released as a jar file and a shared lib, and would be
an optional alternative to the standard Motif AWT toolkit.

(I work for Sun, so I can't work on the classpath.org project, but
I hope that it is a great success!)
