need help on installing Java Studio1.0 in Linux

Has anyone out there been able to get Sun's Java Studio 1.0 to run on
Linux? I went thru the procedure as described on the Blackdown pages and
I get the error message

                        Can't find class sun.jws.Main

I do have my own (legally purchased) copy of Java Studio 1.0 (bought
12-97) and did what the installation said. I figure I messed up the
"apply js-linux.diff". Any and all help would be greatly
appreciated......thanks in advance.
