I'm running kernel version 2.2.16 on a PPC and installed Java 1.1.8 from
Blackdown according to the How-To from Linuxdoc.org. I configured the
JAVA_HOME and CLASSPATH as instructed. I also ran "which Java" and "which
Javac" and they returned the correct path. But when I tried to compile a
simple Hello World program to test it all, I got nothing. No output, no
.class file, no errors. I did a search at the Blackdown archives and found
nothing. Can someone help me?
