Blackdown Team,
~ Hello, my name is Barry Hawkins. I am a member of the Debian Java
Packaging project[0]. I am contacting you on behalf several members of
the team regarding the packaging for Debian of your PowerPC Linux 1.3.1
JDK and JRE released in January 2005[1]. Congratulations and thank you
for your valuable contribution to PowerPC Linux. We have a couple of
questions for you:

1.) Is the Blackdown Java Linux team planning to distribute a Debian
package for the recently-released PowerPC 1.3.1 JDK and JRE? To date,
none of the mirrors appear to have been updated with Debian packages for
PowerPC. Is Blackdown open to Debian packages for these items built
from the Debian Java Packaging project make-jpkg utility?

2.) What is the outlook for mirrors of Blackdown offerings? The current
list[2] is rather sparse and some mirrors listed prove unreliable and
quite slow. Is Blackdown open to assistance with enhancing the mirror
infrastructure?

~ We look forward to discussing this with you.
