Title: UX DESIGNER Location: Jersey City, NJ Duration: 6-12 Month Prefer Local and nearby only. Detail-oriented Interaction Designer to join the User Experience Group in Jersey City. Required: • This is a contract position. x • The team is a highly-collaborative group of multidisciplinary design professionals. • They are looking to design the best client experience in the financial industry. • The qualified individual, looking for a passionate and creative team should immediately apply. Responsibilities: • Perform qualitative user research; establish design personas and scenarios. • Collaborate with strategy, marketing and the business to develop interface behavior and brand consistency across all products and services. • Represent the needs of the user throughout discovery, design, and development; balance business needs and technical feasibility. • Create and maintain documentation (vision statements, personas, scenarios, wireframes, task flows, etc.), for business, marketing and technology teams. • Work closely with the User Interface designer, Editor, and Information Architect to evolve design specifications into useful and usable, goal-centered, brand consistent products. • Participate in usability studies to evolve the interface to meet accessibility and usability standards Required Skills: • Ability to work within an established, goal-oriented design process • Expert-level knowledge of interaction design, user interface design, and information architecture. • The ability to promote design principles and methods without compromising project throughput 'Proven presentation, communication and organization skills; ability to work well with multi-disciplinary teams. • Expert knowledge of interface design standards and best practices • Knowledge of the financial industry is a strong plus. • Online portfolio of recent work (mockups, specifications, guidelines). • # of Years Required: * 3+ years designing Web-based transactional products (i.e., e-commerce, banking, etc.) and large-scale consumer websites • Required Education: College degree Regards, Monty Singh Technical Recruiter Ask IT Consulting You Ask We Deliver!
