Please go through the requirement and send me best match open for this position Title: Oracle Database Admin Location: Austin, TX Duration: 6 month(s) Rate: $30/hr all inclusive (MAX) Required: * 4 Year degree - Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field. * Good communication, verbal and written Good, teamwork skills, Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse teams * 8 yrs Oracle DBA, includes Oracle 10g and 11g, exp testing and implementing software related to the administration * 6 yrs PeopleSoft DBA, including PeopleCode, Data Mover Scripts and Application * 4 yrs PeopleSoft HR and/or Financials experience * 4 yrs PeopleSoft experience with implementations, installations and/or upgrades * 4 yrs Designer SQL and shell script development * 4 yrs Knowledge of software development methodologies, design and implementations * 5 yrs Understanding of computer related tools, methods, platforms and operating systems. Desired: * (Oracle OCP/OCM certification a plus) * 3yrs Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government). * 2 yrs Experience with Symantec Netbackup software. * 2 yrs Experience with Oracle Real Application Cluster environments Responsibilities: * Perform rotating on-call duties related to database support (24 x 7). * Design, develop, implement and administer Oracle databases for the PeopleSoft Enterprise application information systems. * Providing operating success and performance, as well as technical expertise and support to the PS/Oracle ERP infrastructure and Application databases. * Manage and monitor databases and associated technologies, provide input into the evaluation and recommendation of strategies, technologies and standards for all related infrastructures. * Database tuning and database problem resolution as necessary. * Monitor Oracle patches, fixes and other relative Oracle applicable research.
