Title: Business Analyst Location: Austin, TX Duration: 5 Months Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience 5 Business systems analysis and business process improvement in defining complex financial applications and supporting functions. 5 Organizing and facilitating the deriving system requirements from interviews with customers or requirements gathering work sessions. 5 Work experience in gathering system requirements and creating a system requirements document and developing graphical user interface with tools like Adobe Fireworks. 5 Must have a strong analytical, problem-identification and process analysis skills with the ability to envision a solution from requirements 5 Professional who works well independently or as part of a team. 5 Strong interviewing, facilitation, problem resolution, consensus building, and negotiating skills. 5 Must be capable of translating business plans and requirements into information systems concepts and produce and update supporting documentation. 5 Work experience and understanding of software lifecycle methodologies, thorough knowledge of the software specification process and software development processes, and software architecture. 5 Work experience and knowledge in defining and modeling functional business requirements using Unified Modeling Language (UML). 5 Work experience in writing simple SQL queries and knowledge of relational databases. 2 Experience with Agile/Scrum projects and creating and maintaining product backlog. 2 Work experience in system testing which includes the development of test plans, test cases and conducting testing sessions. Strong Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. Strong Excel experience Preferences: Years Skills/Experience 5 Experience with the following tools: requirements analysis tools like Optimal Trace and UML modeling tools like Enterprise Architect 5 Experience with defining business workflow and document management.
