*Position: Junior COM+/VB Programmer* Location: Wilmington, DE *Duration: 6 months +* *Job Description:* · 3-5 years of experience · WinRisk is an Underwriting risk analysis system that linked to the online life application entry and policy administration system. *Related responsibilities include: * • Participate in all phases of the System Development Life Cycle • Prepare technical documentation. • Develop system and object models to support proposed architecture. • Develop SQL queries and stored procedures for efficient data access. • Contribute to the development and execution of unit, system, integration, stress and user acceptance testing. • Analyze and Resolve complex production issues *Qualifications: * 1. Expertise in COM+ components & environment – programming & deployment 2. Expertise in Visual Basic 6.0 3. Knowledge about Visual Basic Interfaces with Crystal Reports, AS400 & web services 4. Understanding of Object based programming & design in order to be able to incorporate enhancements 5. Crystal Reports 8.0 6. SQL 2000 database – table design, writing stored procedures, views, user defined functions etc 7. Exposure to version control tool 8. Overview of AS400 / IBM MQ & Java web application/web service knowledge is an added advantage 9. Good Analytical, Issue Resolution & Problem solving skills 10.
