Position: Sr. NET backup Engineer Location: * Houston, TX* Duration: *1 yr* Reply me ASAP with the following details: Full Name: Total IT Experience: Current location: Availability: Relocation: Visa Status: *The primary responsibility is:* - All certification, testing and documentation for all new products and upgrades that have to do with the *Storage Area Networks (SAN), EMC Clarion and EMC Symantics.* - In addition to cert, this person needs to be an expert *at NETbackup 6.5 7.0* (if they have 6.5, 7.0 should be a breeze. - This person needs to be an expert at all integrations of backups as well. I.E *different types of back ups*, how to accomplish how to integrate new products for back ups on the SAN. - This person will be responsible for coming in, hitting the ground running, and doing all certification, testing and documentation of the latest version on *NETBACKUP 7.0.** * - They have a lab environment where this person will do all of these activities so that this person will understand what the products functionality, and integration is and how it will effect the production environment and networks. - In addition, this person will have to be savvy at where to find out the information about the product, how it works, research on functionality etc. online or other resources, and read all about them. After all reading, testing, certification and analyzing security exposures are done, there will be heavy documentation required regarding all of the above plus findings. <BR>Again, this is a *SR level position*, they are looking for someone that *has 7 + years experience* so that they can hit the ground running. - There will be some on boarding expected like being ramped up on how products in the past have been deployed in the existing environment, and just general information about the existing environment. A LOT OF EXPERIENCE *WITH NETBACKUP* is required.
