Term: 6 months + Bill Rate:* $40 C2C)* Location: Los Gatos, Ca *Skills:* *Responsibilities* Netflix is looking for a highly skilled technical writer to produce documents for our CE industry partners and internal engineering audiences. These documents (which include technical descriptions, partner process documents, build and porting guidelines, and test procedures) will be instrumental in helping our CE partners sell millions of Netflix Ready Devices. To do this job well, you'll need to gather input and feedback from experts across a variety of teams, and use it to craft timely, useful documentation to shepherd our CE partners through the process of making and certifying a Netflix Ready Device. *Qualifications: * - 3 or more years experience documenting products for software developer audiences. - Proven ability to create crisp, usable, developer-focused documentation *(please provide work samples).* - Experience with OOP and a high level language (such as C++). - Unix/Linux command-line proficiency, including basic scripting skills - Experience documenting web technologies is a plus (HTML, HTTP, XML, JavaScript, etc.). - Experience documenting software for CE devices is a plus; especially crypto or streaming software. *Prefer local candidates please!!!
