I have a new requirement for a Project Lead in Round Rock, TX that I thought you might be interested in. Contract length – August 2011 (Good possibility of an extension as this is their fiscal year end) Rate - Open If you are interested please complete the attached forms required by the state. I will also need: · hourly rate · resume in Word format ** *Please do not send me just a resume – if you have a good candidate I will need their skills matrix before I can accurately evaluate them.* ** HHSC is currently engaged with a third-party software implementation vendor and the State of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) to upgrade HHSC’s current HR/Payroll system, AccessHR, to a newer version of PeopleSoft. HHSC requires a worker to ensure quality is achieved for all Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) related project activities. Their responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: · Work as part of the HHSC project management team, specifically overseeing the third-party vendor’s efforts. · Assist the HHSC Project Manager for the upgrade project with respect to the scheduling, completion and status reporting of all SDLC-related project activities. · Serve as primary lead to ensure the following are accomplished: o review and assessment of all software functional designs; o review and assessment of all software technical designs; o review and assessment of all test scenarios for the Systems, Integration, System Performance, and Parallel Payroll test phases of the project; o construction and execution of all User Acceptance Test plans and scenarios; o execution of all Integration Test scenarios; o IT participation in walkthroughs and assessments of all designs, test scenarios and test execution results; and, o completion of agency development of HR/Payroll reports and queries for the upgraded system.
