*Position:* PL/SQL Developer *Location:* NYC *Duration:*6 Months Are you an EXPERIENCED PL/SQL Developer? Do you have significant experience with V3 quality control reporting and developing and maintaining PL/SQL code with Oracle 10g? Do you know how to work with Jaspersoft iReports? Can you explore a data model on your own with limited guidance? If so, contact us right away! Java experience is a PLUS! *Responsibilities:* * Learn and master database schema of complex third-party enterprise applications * Understand and interpret customer requirements and develop solutions to meet those requirements * Participate in project and new initiative meetings as necessary; represent the development team and make recommendations and decisions on behalf of the team * Make suggestions on improvements for developing and deploying applications * Design and development of software using primarily PL\SQL batch processing * Design, develop, and test reports using Jaspersoft iReport * Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, program logic, and flowcharts *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred * Experience developing and maintaining PL/SQL code; PL/SQL with Oracle 10g * Expertise in application development with knowledge of full software development life cycle * Demonstrated understanding of Database deployment architectures * Understanding of change management and automation/repeatability * Demonstrated experience in working through production environment deployments * Strong knowledge and use of development, methodologies, standards and procedures * Excellent written and verbal communications skills * Excellent teaming and leadership skills * Ability to manage priorities and handle simultaneous demands; willingness to work in a fast paced and demanding environment The Director stated while this is not exactly high end coding.it's close to it.
