The AIX/UNIX Administrator is responsible for the installation and maintenance of the AIX operating system on IBM p-Series platforms. Responsible for all facets of the AIX OS and HACMP or PowerHA, including backup and recovery procedures, user and file system security, application installation and maintenance, performance tuning and capacity planning. Responsible for providing support in a 24X7 environment. AIX Administrator responsibilities include script writing using such tools as Shell and/or Perl.
