Position:Java developer with Dojo Location: Dublin Ohio Duration 6-12 months plus Description: We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with DOJO experience for a contract role with our Columbus, OH client. The goal of the position is to balance enterprise capability with business needs in solution creation. Responsibilities: • Manage the development and implementation of enterprise solutions that drive business value. • Provide client with market-competitive skills, quality and price for applications development and for support of client's worldwide applications portfolio. • Serve as J2EE/Java Web Services/Dojo developer for an in development application used by regulatory business users. • Provide high level guidance on a variety of technologies. • Work closely with external team and technical lead on implementation of design. • Work closely with business clients to ensure satisfaction. • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of applications as they move into production. • Write code as required. • Provide mentoring to more junior members of team. • Follow client SDLC. • Work effectively within large, matrixes project teams. • Collaborate with internal peers and third party partners. • This position will be responsible for assuming the development of a J2EE/Dojo based application with a significant number of integration points into a variety of backend systems. • This person will work closely with a third party development group and internal resources to learn and assume ownership of the application. • The position will involve heavy coding for the initial implementation of the application as well as subsequent releases and ongoing bug fixes and enhancement requests. Requirements: • The ideal candidate will possess a wide variety of technical experience as well as the ability to function in a corporate environment. • Must be able to learn quickly and take the initiative to identify and solve problems. • Must have a proven background in J2EE development and Java Web services. • J2EE • XML • Java Web Services • Dojo • Java Script • Message Broker • Eclipse/WID Desired: • WebSphere • SQL • RDBMS • Unix/Linux • Prior knowledge of regulatory driven systems is a plus as is experience developing in an Agile environment Thanks for your time!
