Projects may include small to medium sized enhancement projects and multi-year, multi-phase strategic client initiatives related to pension administrative services such as common remitter, contribution calculation, vesting, plan eligibility determination. A successful candidate will have solid combination of 403b/401k retirement services industry knowledge and strong IT business and systems analysis skills. The candidate will help drive continuous improvements and foster strong relationships within technology, operations, marketing and our external institutional clients. Expected Responsibilities: Responsibilities will include gathering and documenting business, functional and non-functional requirements; conduct business and systems analysis for enhancements, strategic changes, and potentially production support issues. Candidate will prepare business requirement documents (RD) and functional requirement documents (FRD), complete all required reviews of the same and obtain business and technology approvals as per TIAA-CREF's standard project methodology and governance; prepare and execute integration/system test plans and test cases, review the same with business and technology stakeholders and obtain all necessary approvals; provide estimates for requirements gathering, testing, implementation tasks; execute Change Management. Support Project Manager in all business and technology project activities through scoping, estimating, project planning, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation and launch. Candidate will be expected to interface directly with Institutional plan administrators. Suggested Experience & Qualifications: * 10+ years of Business/Application Analyst experience, pension / 403b or 401k retirement services a must * Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to follow through to successful resolution. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Good understanding of SDLC. General SOX compliance knowledge. * Adept at understanding operational nuances across multiple business areas. * Skilled in Microsoft Office and Visio. * Preferred skills - CA Caliber RM and Quality Center * Nice to have: projects that have utilized Java/JEE, WebServices, Portal technologies. Scheduled Days/Week: M-F Scheduled Hours/Week: 40 Will CW(s) have systems access and/or physical access to any TIAA-CREF work areas other than common areas? (A common area is an area where a badge is not required for entry.)
