*Position:* SAP Analyst
*Location:* Milwaukee, WI
*Duration:* 1 year +
The COE Services team functions as the process, planning and tools group
for the ERP Center of Excellence. Responsibilities include SAP transport
management, SAP system maintenance outage planning and coordination, tool
administration and support, process creation, updates, guidance and
training, demand planning and others.
*The Senior Analyst will work on our Global Manufacturing Execution (GME)
project, performing the following high-level tasks: *
- Organizes and coordinates all aspects of moving objects (transports,
java imports, etc.) for the GME/HR release to the QA, Training, Mock
Cutover and Production Support landscapes.
- Manages the movement of any dual maintenance objects for production
support.
- Environments that requires “transport coordination” include:
- SAP ECC
- SAP BW
- SAP SCM/APO
- SAP PI
- SAP Portal
- SAP MII
- SAP ME
· Assist with continuous improvement efforts to enhance the change
management process that will be used for all SAP related projects going
forward, including the GME/HR release during testing cycles and post
implementation support utilizing SAP Change and Request Management (ChaRM)
in SAP Solution Manager.
· Work directly with sustain and project development leads on all
aspects of transport management for GME.
· Communicate with various stakeholder groups including the ERP COE,
GIS, Business and Leadership.
*Key skills for the above duties include:*
- In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience of change management
processes in a large and complex SAP system environment.
- In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience with SAP transports.
- In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience with SAP Solution
Manager.
- In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience with SAP Change and
Request Management (ChaRM).
- Experience with technical cutover and implementation activities during
major test phases, mock cutovers and production implementations.
*Working hours for the above duties are:*
- In general, work will be performed during core business hours, except
during mock cutovers and implementation periods.
