* * Senior Network Engineer - Washington DC- 1 year contract Key Responsibilities: . Oversee daily support of network service for applications and e-business teams and provide technical expertise in related projects. Undertake Project Management tasks relating to budgeting, Scheduling, Planning, documentation, pricing & orders, installs. . Develop network architecture for new site rollouts, and secure application support, Coordinate circuit installs delivery of equipment, rack & stack, Responsible for identifying key yearly projects, growth and consolidation strategies, emerging technologies, leveraging infrastructure life-cycle. . Test installation and basic network services including DHCP, multicast forwarding, etc. Configure network software and hardware as required and Coordinate and integrate 3rd-party installations as required. Technical skills (mandatory) 1). 8+ years of hands on networking experience in multi-site-multivendor 2). CCNP equivalent Cisco certification or expertise 3). Working knowledge of route redistribution and troubleshooting issues involved 4). Strong working knowledge of catalyst 6500 switches. 5). In depth experience of configuring and running firewalls and multi-DMZ environments 6). In depth experience of IPSEC VPNs (multi-vendor) 7). In depth experience with RSA Secure ID Authentication Manager 8). In depth experience with application proxy firewalls and IDS 9).
