*Duration*: 6 month contract *Location:* Omaha, NE Experience with Informatica installation and deployment and script writing with powershell. *Informatica Systems Administrator* This position is for Informatica Systems Administrator responsible for maintaining Informatica systems software and runtime environment used to extract, transform and load data into various databases at high volume. *Primary Responsibilities* · Providing technical support for the Informatica environment including assessment and implementation of new data integration technologies - Work with architecture, data integration and other infrastructure teams to help achieve a state-of-the-art environment that meets current and future business objectives - Work with developers and come up with standards and consistency of mappings, workflows, scheduling and configuration - Work with DBA’s and follow the normal SQL Server best practices established - Informatica repository sizing, capacity planning, monitoring and maintenance on SQL Server platform - Scheduling Informatica workflows with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler - Promoting code from dev – test – production - Upgrading and patching of Informatica servers - Perform maintenance to ensure 99.9% up time for Informatica production environment - Backup / Recovery of Informatica software, repository and configurations · Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment diagrams and check-lists · Provide emergency support 24x7 on an on-call rotation basis - Conducting research into Informatica related issues and working with developers and Informatica vendor when necessary - Be the go to person for Informatica internals - Automate routine tasks where appropriate *Required Skills* · Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills · Good documentation skills with both technical and non-technical information · Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail · Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment · Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment · Hands-on software troubleshooting skills · SQL Server database integration as it relates to Informatica administration · Development of Informatica workflow and T-SQL scripts and stored procedures · Knowledge of Informatica Power Exchange internals · Informatica Power Exchange mappings and real-time processing data integration · Working knowledge of Power Shell or C# or willing to self-learn in a short period for automation of routine tasks · Troubleshoot and optimizing SQL code and stored procedures and Informatica components *Qualifications* · BE or BS Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business · 3 years or more Informatica Administration experience in a Windows environment. · Good technical knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008 · Informatica HA configuration experience preferred · Working experience in Windows Server platforms · Tidal job scheduling knowledge for Informatica workflows is desired but not required · Informatica Power Exchange web services experience is a plus · Informatica Meta Data Manager experience is a plus Thanks & Regards, *Gaurav Seth* ITECS *IT & EBusiness Consulting Services Inc.* Ph: 516.499 6042 | Fax: 347 602 9084/866 515 6599 *[email protected]* | www.itecsus.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Java Tech Group" group.
