RESPONSIBILITIES: UNIX Oracle physical DBA for Oracle-based applications. Responsibilities will include Oracle database administration, backup/recovery, Oracle upgrades, installs, database migrations, Dataguard/Standby, Goldengate, RAC, Oracle Grid Control, DB tuning, and performance management of the DB environment. QUALIFICATIONS: Oracle physical DBA experience (minimum 5 years of exp in USA) in a large and dynamic environment. Solid understanding of core Oracle RDBMS concepts is needed in this large and fast moving environment. Candidates must be expert in using Unix-driven, non-GUI based tools for day to day database support.
