*Senior Business Analyst (Migration fro Legacy to Case Management system)*
Duration: *4 month contract*
Rate:*$55 per/hr on c2c (all inclusive)*
Location:*Annapolis, MD.*

*Experience:*

Good experience as a *Business Analyst with experience in Migration fro
Legacy to Case Management system*.  Documentation , requirement gathering,
JAD Sessions, interacting with Programmers and understanding the SDLC of
system design and development, Legal domain expertise . Specifically, the
consultant needs to possess

Strong analytical skills, including an understanding of how to interpret
customer business needs into application and operational requirements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; and the ability to interact
professionally with a diverse group including: executives, IT personnel,
consultants and subject matter experts.
Ability to develop requirement documents using standard templates in simple
language
Ability to work independently, under the direction of the Court Business
Office Director, with subject matter experts, stakeholders, IT personnel
and consultants.
Ability to facilitate discussions with diverse group.
Ability to engage in and prioritize assignments across multiple initiatives.
Ability to interpret Maryland Code and Statutes
Ability to translate business processes into technological solutions.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to perform all essential job functions



*Duties:*
1.Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements
workshops, surveys, site visits and workflow analysis.
·Facilitate and organize meetings/sessions with subject matter experts.
·Capture and publish meeting results.
·Monitor follow-up activities/action items.
·Incorporate findings into the preparation/maintenance of Court Business
Office document repository.



2.Evaluate information received from multiple sources and identify
conflicts, risks and opportunities; decompose high level information;
generalize detailed information.
·Evaluate the Code, Rules and Statutes of Maryland; specification
documents; project plans; RFP responses; other published and verbal
information as necessary.
·Elaborate high level information into detailed processes or diagrams.
·Glean important information from detailed reports and prepare a summaries



3.Communicate and collaborate in the production and maintenance of the
following artifacts:  functional requirements document, interface
specifications, business process flow diagrams, Court performance goals,
web site contents etc.
·Edit material for conformity to established document standards and
procedures.
·Maintain records of document distribution and revision history.
·Participate in the development, maintenance and enforcement of document
standards.



4.Provide reporting both verbally and in writing (narrative and graphical)
to groups of varying knowledge levels and at varying degrees of specificity.
·Create reports that adhere to document standards and procedures.
·Ensure that report format, technique and content is suitable for the
audience.
·Communicate extensively with external and internal stakeholders, including
the general public.



5.Review legislative and rule changes to assess impact on business process
and technology changes.
·Provide feedback to the courts on suggestions for implementation of new
changes
·Work closely with the staff in the configuration and modification of
technology solutions based on interpretations of requirements.



6.Other duties as assigned
·Complete necessary administrative forms for time reporting, performance
evaluation, expense reporting.
·Provide status reporting on work efforts.
