you can use IndexReader.getTermFreqVectors(int n) to get all terms and their frequencies. Make sure when you create an index, you choose option to store it by specifying Field.TermVector option. Check out http://www.cnlp.org/presentations/slides/AdvancedLuceneEU.pdf
