I tried to resurrect your thread but didn't get lots of responses for
the exception of private email (most coming from Dan, thanks!)
Oh well, until Jim can post some good news on J2D performance, I'm off
to test graphics performance on the new IBM JDK , which promises to be
very speedy with it's new JIT technology ...
