Hi all, I am just starting an MSc project looking at the Segmentation of Mammographic Images (X-Ray) using 2-D Wavelet Decomposition, in order to achieve this I am about to attempt the design and implementation of an Image processing suite in Java (this will allow open access to other students for future development). I am however more interested in the results than developing the software and would prefer not to spend my time reinventing the wheel. So, if any of you good people out there know of any open source code that implements any sort of 2D wavelet analysis please could you let me know.
