Hello together,
After some research into the topic of TabletPCs and Java I realised that there seems to be a big hole in the APIs. Would anybody be interested in an API encompassing the typical TabletPC features such as drawing, text recognition, etc.? I plan to construct one but could use some help...
Cheers, Arik

I would certainly be interested in one. I have a Wacom tablet and would certainly like to have Java be able to read it's pressure sensitive feature. The only code I've found available for it relies on a native routines for windows.
My question would be - how could we be certain that what we develop would be incorporated into Java? Also, tablet input is less defined than keyboard input, and I'd think that maintaining native code for all possible tablet input devices would be prohibitive.
