So I assume that there is no workaround , and probaly I'm better off with j6u5
for the time being and perhaps I will test b23 with my app when it comes out.
At this point the only work around is to disable the pipeline
using -Dsun.java2d.d3d=false .
I have a question though: would your users really notice the
difference between 500fps and 250fps? I know that the
performance difference is 2x here (btw, the ratio
is less if you increase the size of the window), but it
probably will not affect the users as much.
