I've been trying to get a handle on the issues with Transparency. I have

I'd be very interested to hear any comments, especially in terms of future
direction or bug fixes/workarounds that I should mention in my book.
Image 7 - Transparency 0, NICEST is particularly troubling.
Differences between SCREEN_DOOR and NICEST (11/12) and continuos redraw in
image 13.
Am I right in that there are two modes: NICEST and SCREEN_DOOR, all other
modes are equivalent to NICEST?
