I'm attempting to start a development environment on a new
machine.
It's an Athalon based system, currently running Win98 (until I
can get NT, and hopefully Solaris for Intel afterward). I've
got the LeadTek GeForce 3D card in there. I've tried both
jdk1.2.2 and jdk 1.3. With both of them, when I launch one of
the demos with the appletviewer, it works beautifully for about
one second and proceeds to freeze my entire machine,
necessitating a hard restart.
Is there something I have failed to do?
Please help...
