All, We have some Java 3D samples on the SUN Solutions CD, Volume 2 2000, just released for JavaOne. The CD contains a runnable demo of JavaMet (a scientific visualization application) as well as a Doom style 2D navigation example from my book (still in progress!). The Doom style example includes full source and implements: - simple keyboard navigation - loading and building a 3D world from a 2D image - grid-based collision detection - transparent textures - simple texture animation - moving sprites I will be posting the Doom example to our web site over the next couple of days.
