Hello Java3D Developers and Users,
I'm very interested in the Java3D Technology. Last year i wrote a 3D Chat
with it to leran the basics of J3D. Now i'm considering to develop a
sophisticated online game based on Java and Java3D. Java isn't the fastest
choice but i think it's fast enough. The game will also depend alot on
Java3D, so i wonder how Java3D will improve the next months.
Sun seems to focus on J2EE features so i wonder what's their strategy
towards APIs like Java3D. I guess there's still alot of work to be done
until Java3D can really compete with OpenGL and DirectX. This is my opion
based on the examples i saw yet - the 3d scenes could be faster, smoother,
more realistic and more stable.
So, which improvements can the Java3D community expect?

By the way: how knows really cool Java3D examples (complex geometry,
intelligent behaviours, visualFX, many objects, ...) ?
