yes, works fine.

1) add j3dcore.jar j3dutils.jar vecmath.jar to the classpath
(Project->properties->classpath) so you can compile.
2) change the run command from jview (MS) to java (SUN) so you can run.

Definitly Visual J++.
I must add that I only tried JBuilder 3, Visual Age, Sun JDK,
CodeWarrior, Jde, Kawa, as alternatives.
