I would like to use the WAV parser bundled with JMF for use in my Java3D
application. The JavaSound API apparently can parse WAV files that use
the PCM format, but not WAVs that use others like "TrueSpeech".
Has anyone tried to use the parsers in JMF for a Java3D application?
Also, I really don't want the user to have to download the entire 5meg
JMF just so I can get a couple classes that parse WAVs. What is Sun's
position on breaking out the parsers???
PS: I did notice in the J3D API that Sun has future intentions on
letting
the MediaContainer accept input from JMF classes. When might this
happen? Or do I still need to implement this for myself??
