There is no direct way of doing 2 faced lighting in J3D. To do this (we
needed it for the VRML spec) you have to play with the rendering
attributes. Firstly tell it to not do back-face culling and then also
set the normal flip to true. The effect is that you now have a polygon
that is always visible and is correctly lit.
