Hey all, I've cleared up the problems I was having with Java 3d applets and the Java plugins, although my friend with a Macinotsh says that there is no 1.3 or 1.2 plugin for Macinotshes. I guess he's out of luck. Otherwise it seems to be ok under Linux and Windows.
But I have a lingering question concerning termination and cleanup of Java 3d applets. Everything is stable while running my little applet. But when I close out the Java window that contains the applet, my web browser freezes (this is under IE6 and Windows 98). Do I need to remove any objects in finalize or otherwise clean up after myself when the applet exits? How, since Java usually handles garbage collection for me? -- John On Thu, 11 Oct 2001, John Nelson wrote: > Well I'm still having problems running my applets.
