I just wanted to say that we were able to run our project on Linux and Windows with almost no modification using java3d 1.3. In fact the only modification which we needed to make was to correct what was really a bug. We were calling setValidVertexCount() on a GeometryStripArray, which makes no sense but was allowed under Java3d 1.2.1. Our framerates improved 140 percent and our multitextured terrain took on an even better look than before. In addition certain scenes which before dropped the framerate by 50 percent now only drop 1 or 2 fps. Thanks for all the good work!
