http://www.j3d.org/faq/stereo.html Does mention the reason why it don't work. http://www.guru3d.com/files/softquadro/ Has the softQuadro drivers that should provide Java with the openGl extentions that it looks for to activate stereo. If you search the list archives there have been a few messages giving more details. As I mentioned I never got around to trying it as it did seem a bit messy. I think you have to be in full screen with the PC j3d.... check the posts. :) It is possible to run stereo in a window with a GeForce card, I've certainly seen it in some of the stuff I played with (might have been Cortona VRML browser plugin). But I think the limits are in the way Java accesses the cards stereo features. I might try it again as I'm starting to mess about with my old j3d project. If I figure out the details I'll post them.
