While I work for Sun, I don't speak for the Java3D team.
(or the NetBeans/Forte Team for that matter)
I've only ever used the NetBeans and Forte IDE's and they can
build useful COde Completion databases from the .jar files that
are included in J3D.
As Atur points out though, you'll only see the parameter types in the
method completions, not the parameter names.
I don't know about other IDE's but I believe you can download a
NetBeans/Forte completion DB (They call it a ParserDB) from
www.netbeans.org
I'm not sure exactly where it is now. At one point they had a page
just for ParserDB's for Java extensions and other .jar's. It may be
there. It also may be available with the experimental Java3D plugin
module for NetBeans/Forte (This is what the Java3D FlyThrough/Editor
has turned into I believe, though Paul might need to correct me.)
though I don't know the exact URL for that either.
