What is the acceptable way to handle this kind of situation as the bounding boxes will be overlapping as well as there is also one large bounding box covering the whole scene?
Unfortunately I really can't help you on this. I don't know the implementation of their transparency sorting and they don't release _any_ useful implementation details about the system making it extremely difficult to do anything relatively advanced. It's really a case of having to experiment and see what works best and trying to reverse engineer the implementation. -- Justin Couch http://www.vlc.com.au/~justin/ Java Architect & Bit Twiddler http://www.yumetech.com/ Author, Java 3D FAQ Maintainer http://www.j3d.org/ ------------------------------------------------------------------- "Humanism is dead.
