I've created FastScript3D, which is JavaScript extensions to Java3D that make can make it easier to quickly develop Java3D applets for web pages using HTML and JavaScript.
I wanted to write the interest group because I added a cool example applet of interest to the web site. It creates a FastScript3D extension command called GEOMX3DVRML that loads VRML 97 files into a FastScript3D Java3D applet using the X3D vrml loader. The applet is in the gallery and is called "X3D Loading VRML". Other examples of FastScript3D loading obj files and etc. are in the gallery. Please run the examples on the PC using Internet Explorer. If you get security violations or other problems there is a reference page on setting up your policy file and proper Java installation.
