I think you should update the video drivers. The exception is happening
outside java. Maybe also updating directx will help.

Betreff: [JAVA3D] Java3d 1.3 with JRE 1.4.1_01-b01

When I try to run my program under Windows 2000 SP2, with Java3D 1.3 and JRE
1.4.1_01-b01, I get the following error :

An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.
Unexpected Signal : EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION occurred at PC=0x6958AB9A
Function=DrvValidateVersion+0x71FEA
Library=C:\WINNT\System32\mxicd.dll

My program works fine with Java3D 1.3 and 1.4.1_01-b01 under Linux. I tried
Java3D 1.3 Opengl, Java3D 1.3 Directx and Java3D 1.3.1 beta Opengl and I
always get the same error.

Did someone experiments the same problem ? Is it a problem from Java3D or
from the JVM ?

Jerome.
