Try to use greyscale images and use just one of the color channels (example:
blue channel);

Subject: [JAVA3D] processing raw geomtry data

hi,

 i'm just starting to get to grips with java 3d and i am using it for a
university project, in which i am taking a 2d picture and transfering these
co-ordinates to 3d space.

this works well with a point array but the problems start when i try to turn
these raw points into surfaces, i tried using the geometry_info array which
can be used to easily create a flat surface, the problem comes when the
surface it is trying to draw is irregular and surface comes out different
than expected.

Any adice on how i can transform these raw points into more complex shapes.

the raw data, holds the 3d co-ordinates of the edge of each picture which
has been rotated about its y axis.
