Would you mind to share your code? j3d.orgs overlay system is very fancy but also a lot of code and not-so-easy to integrate in other frameworks.
Hi I've uploaded the hud zip to the early access part of the resources page on http://www.newdawnsoftware.com , it contains the src, javadoc, jar and a little demo, it is early access stuff, i've not noticed any bugs with it recently, so it should be ok, if there are any, let me know.
