Have you installed them into the same folder ?
Have you other versions of java (the JVM) installed ?

Do you have installed DirectX in a recent version (>7) ?

If you don't know: click start => execution, enter: "dxdiag", click OK. Tell
us what you see.

Or simply download the lastest version from MS http://www.microsoft.com and
install it.

Another test: Deinstall the directX-version, install the OpenGL-Version. The
OpenGL-version works even if directX is not installed and you don't have to
install anything for openGL to work (from win98 on ?)

Which games/3D-Application do work on your PC ?

You do have a graphic card, just believe me, you _have_ a graphic card. Maybe
it's integrated into the motherboard but it is somewhere inside your PC. If
you don't have one you dont see anything (not even buttons or windows) on the
screen. So let's just figure out what it is.

.... a ATI-Rage-128 would be cheap and works fine with java3d. It's sold for
around 20 Euro (+-25 US-Dollar). But it's NOT fast at all, and that's NOT
your problem. Your problem is somewhere in the configuration of windows,
java3d or DirectX.
