Why is Java 3D ”installed” – would it
not be better to just distribute the JARs with simple instructions were to put
them? Does the installation do anything else except adding the JAR-files that
makes this procedure necessary? We constantly have problems with ”installing”
Java 3D on developer machines with more than one JDK. In some cases it seems
like the JDK that is in the ”path” is the one that receive the new
JARs no matter were one tried to install them... When dealing with multiple JDKs (we use both 1.3, 1.4
and 1.5!) what is the best/proper way to install Java 3D tyo make it work with
all of them? Best Regards Magnus |
