Hello,

I finally got Java3D based applets to run in both IE 5.0 Beta and NS 4.5.
Occassionally, when I back out of a web page with a Java 3D applet running,
I get the Blue Screen of Death. I'm using:

JDK 1.2 Final Release (using the Plug-in that came with this)
Java3D 1.1 Final Release (OpenGL Implementation)
WinNT 4.0 Service Pack 4
Netscape Communicator 4.5 (Strong Encryption - if that matters)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 Beta
333MHz Pentium II based system
Permedia based Graphics card (AccelPRO MX 3D)

Surprisingly, it happens more frequently in Netscape than IE. I haven't
been able to determine any pattern to the failures. Sometimes it occurs the
first time I try to back out of an applet running Java3D, other times it
happens after about ten or twelve Java3D applets have been run. It also
doesn't seem to happen when I'm running straigh Java 2 applets using the
plug-in.

Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

-Andy
