Hi all...

Is there an algorithm out there to create a rectangle with another one cut
out of it?
I have a utility class I wrote that calculates and and adds points to a
QuadArray (given the top left and bottom right points of a plane or cube ) I
would like to use the two points for the rect and 2 more for a "gap" as
arguments for the method.

I keep getting strange results and can't seem to calculate this. I also need
to calculate the Texturecoords, but that shouldn't be a problem.


Also, while I'm at it, does anyone have any reliable method for creating
curves or know where I can find this type of info? (I haven't done any
non-j3d 3D and have none of the math)
