I found the answer to this just yesterday in the archive of this message
board (which prompted me to join.)
Go here: http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/3D/download.html
Underneath the spot where you download Java3D you'll see the link to the zip
files for this documentation. Believe me, life is so much better with it.
To the Java3D team - excellent work!!! I'm currently writing a 3D simulator
of an area in our chemical process to allow a much safer way to train the
Operators - something I never dreamed of doing until I came across Java3D.
You've made this rookie engineer "the man" at work.
