Dave, thank you very much for this generous offer.  We will certainly miss
the great service you have provided over the years.  SDSC's role in the
birth, development and growth of VRML has been crucially important.
Everyone is very grateful for the hard work you & SDSC have put in 
over the past five years.

Is someone willing to shepherd this effort?

To java3d:  are you folks interested in helping & expanding the

also consider now as part of a new repository?
