Hello,

    I am sure someone asked thisbefore, but I couldn't find it
in the archives. My question is this. Is there any way to
stop the renderer ( mixed/retained mode ) from continuously
drawing. I have a scene which does not continuously
update, unless the user is manipulating the scene. My preDraw/
render/postDraw methods are being pounded without reason.

I seem to recall stopRenderer() and startRenderer() are
expensive calls?  I'd hate to have to traverse the
scene graph myself...

Any ideas or solutions coming in 1.2?
